Courtney Manning

Greetings everyone! My name is Courtney Manning. I was born August 12, 1993. I am currently and undergraduate students at Texas Christian University, persuing a bachelors degree in Theatre and Educational studies. I have had a passion for dance since I was a child. One of my greatest hobbies were listening to my favorite songs in my room and choreographing dance routines to them. I have always had a dream of performing them in front of crowds, but let fear deter me from taking that first step.

My mother made arrangements for my first audition at the Houston Academy of Dramatic Arts. There my passion for performancing grew tremendously. Show after show I felt like I was breaking free from this bond that I had placed myself in. Being involved in such performances taught me something that I didnt know about myself. It taughting me that using the talents that God has given me, and joy, supersedes all fear and doubt.

With this dance movement I want to continue to challenge myself both artistically and emotionally.
